Matthew McAllister

Matt McAllister, FSA, MAAA joined the Tampa office of Actuarial Resources Corporation as a consulting actuary in 2000. He is currently a vice president of ARC. Matt graduated from Rensselaer in 1992 (BSME) and attained his MBA from the University of Houston in 1995. Matt became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1999 and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 2001.

Matt was a mechanical engineer for four years before making a career change to the actuarial field after attaining his MBA in Finance. He utilizes his diverse experience and educational background to assist clients in the areas of life, health and annuity product development, financial reporting, litigation support, and marketing/administrative issues. He has also assisted state insurance departments with various examinations and filing review.

Matt is a member of the Southeastern Actuarial Conference (SEAC) and has been a program participant for the SEAC.

Matt and his wife, Carol, have two sons, Matthew II and Colin, and reside in Tampa where he enjoys golfing year round.
