Kristie K. Sayre

Kristie K. SayreKristie Sayre is a consulting actuary and a founding Principal of Actuarial Resources Corporation of Georgia. She graduated from Furman University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, continuing on to do graduate work at Clemson University in Probability and Statistics. Kristie became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1980 and a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries in 1982. She is also a Member of the American Arbitration Association. She has served as President of the Southeastern Actuaries Conference and was Vice President of the SOA Exam Committee for Individual Health/Long Term Disability.

In 1974 Kristie joined Liberty Life Insurance Company where she was involved in all aspects of life and health insurance, including pricing, marketing, administration, policy form filing, rate increases, valuation, statutory reporting, company taxation, product taxation and statutory reporting.

Since leaving Liberty Life in 1983, Kristie has worked as a consulting actuary at Sayre and Sayre Associates, Tillinghast/Towers Perrin and currently Actuarial Resources of Georgia. In consulting she has expanded her work in the life and health area to include audit work, merger and acquisition work and most recently litigation support and expert witness work. She has been involved in several high profile trials involving numerous aspects of taxation of both life insurance companies and life insurance products.

Kristie takes great pride in her four children who are each pursuing their own careers.
