Ralph J. Sayre

Ralph founded Actuarial Resources Corporation in 1992 after working many years with his firm, Sayre & Sayre in Greenville, SC. With ARC, he provides consulting services to carriers, corporations and agency groups. Ralph began his career at Liberty Life Insurance Co. in Greenville, SC, rising to the position of Vice President in charge of Research and Development. He was an agent for two years with several prominent insurance companies and still works on many projects involving sales compensation arrangements. He is a member of LOMA and a CLU. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Southeastern Actuaries Conference.

Ralph obtained his FSA and MAAA designation in 1978 and 1980. He brings more than 30 years of experience in life and health products to his clients. Product areas include life, annuity, health, and disability. In addition to product development and pricing expertise, Ralph also provides assistance with financial reporting, marketing and administrative issues. Drawing on his professional and academic experience, Ralph also is an active presenter at various industry meetings.

Ralph and his wife, Kristie, are the parents of four active children, each now developing their own careers. His hobbies are travel, water sports, golf, and snow skiing.
