Donald G. Yates

Don Yates is a consulting actuary at Actuarial Resources Corporation of Georgia with an office in Birmingham, Alabama. Don graduated from the University of Michigan in 1962 with a Masters of Business Administration in Actuarial Science degree. Don became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1967 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 1968.

Don has over 40 years of experience in life and health insurance. As a life insurance employee, he was involved with industrial insurance, group life and health, and health, direct response marketing, statutory reporting, term insurance, acquisitions and installation of a consolidated administration system. As a consulting actuary he assisted state insurance departments with examinations and with review of accident and health fillings.

Don is also a member of the Southeastern Actuarial Conference (SEAC) and has been a program participant for the SEAC.

Don and his wife, Ann, are the parents of Debbi and Jason and the grandparents of Alexander and Niki.
